You are entitled to a Leaving Care Plan
Your Leaving Care Plan should include:
1. Family support. Information and advice about other agencies that can help you with family searching and family mediation.
2. Housing. Financial assistance and support to help you find accommodation.
3. Education. Assistance in finding the right education and training for you.
4. Employment. Assistance in finding employment.
5. Counselling. Counselling and other services.
6. Documentation. Help with accessing personal documentation.

This plan will include ways you can be supported through after care services to deal with any issues that may arise when you leave care. This is designed to reduce the stress involved in leaving care and learning to live independently.

Aftercare Resource Centre (ARC)
ARC is for people aged over 25 years anywhere in NSW who need help dealing with issues that have arisen as a result of their experiences in care.
