TAFE

Technical And Further Education (TAFE) is an affordable, accessible and clear pathway into the workforce or even uni.

It is government-owned and runs in every state of Australia so you should be able to find a campus where you live. TAFE offers qualifications that are recognised and transferable internationally.

One of the good things about TAFE is that most courses aren’t restricted by entry requirements. This means that getting a good mark in your HSC or even finishing school at all, isn’t compulsory.

Some TAFE courses and campuses have relationships with universities which means that in some cases, if you complete a diploma certificate at TAFE it can count towards a year or even two years at uni. How’s that for a head start?!

The best thing about TAFE is that it offers a range of student support services which range from assistance with housing and counseling to orientation and activity programs. TAFE offers a secure and supportive environment to everyone!

For more information about TAFE and applying check out the national website and find your state. You can then look for a campus near you and get applying!
