If you are aged between 15 and 24 and live in ACT, Tasmania or Melbourne, check these out.

There are four awesome workshops to choose from. You can do 1 or enroll for all 4!  Have a read below and ring 1800 655 105 to get involved in your state.

The Great Race workshop is a team event to help you find services & agencies that you may need to use once you leave care.  Teams will compete against each other to complete fun challenges.   You will have to find different places and may have to do different challenges to complete your mission.  Can you imagine having your photo taken upside down at the local youth resource centre??  Well then this is the workshop for you! 

Think outside the square will challenge your view of learning, and what you think you can or can’t do. The workshop checks out different learning styles, challenges your way of looking at things, teaches you to listen and challenges you to achieve anything you set your mind to. 

Pathways to independence will teach you some really practical stuff like how to fill out a TILA application, what help you can get with bond, how to deal with Centrelink, how to bargain shop, credit cards, mobile phones, how to buy your first car and heaps more. 

How to get a job and keep it will teach you how to decide on what job to apply for and the steps you need to take to make it happen. You will learn about goal setting, resume writing, how to address a Key Selection Criteria, how to dress for an interview and loads more. 

CYF ~ The program – Available in ACT & Tas only

The CYF Program is 24 action packed days that could change the course of your life!  From taking the leap of faith from a two story platform, to learning to cook, budget, how to get a job, how to get your licence, how to get your ID, even how to find the course you want to do!  This program has got it all, and if there is something missing, all you have to do is tell us, and we’ll add it.
